: (1) There will be a recommendation committee as follows to recommend names to the Prime Minister for the appointment or nomination of office bearers and members to be nominated in the assembly:
(a) Minister of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation – Chairman
(b) Two members appointed by the Prime Minister from among the famous people in the fields of language, literature, culture and philosophy. (2) When the committee as per sub-section (1) recommends a name for nomination as a member of the assembly, representation from all disciplines related to language, literature, culture, philosophy and social science as far as possible from among the people who have studied and researched in language, literature, culture, philosophy and social science or who are famous in that field. Names should be recommended to include all castes, genders, and languages.
(3) The committee under sub-section (1) when recommending names for the appointment of office bearers shall do so from among the nominated members of the assembly.
(4) The procedure to be followed in relation to the recommendations made by the committee under sub-section (1) shall be as determined by the said committee itself.
